Oncology Sales Specialist - San Antonio
The Oncology Sales Specialist, is a key position within the Immunomedics commercial team. The position will report to the Regional Business Director.
The Oncology Sales Specialist will be responsible for launching Immunomedics oncology products within the assigned territory.
Key activities include promoting all assigned products to targeted oncologists and office staff, working with reimbursement and office management to ensure product reimbursement, in-servicing all staff to ensure safe and appropriate drug administration,
Developing thought-leaders and advocate development
Providing feedback on the marketplace to the RBD and product marketing
Building strong relationships with other key stakeholders to enable product adoption.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing or related field. (MA,MBA a plus)
Minimum of 3-5 years of biopharmaceutical oncology or hematology sales experience with documented track record of success in this marketplace.
Product launch Experience.
Experience in hospital and large account sales, managing through complex reimbursement issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills and ability to influence others.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships
Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of customer business, disease state, product/competitive prescribing information, approved promotional clinical trials, patient/office access to medication, contract terms and conditions, and regulatory/compliance guidelines
Must have a valid US driver’s license.
