Director, Product Value - Immuno-oncology Product Lead
The Product Lead is responsible for developing and executing Product Value strategies to support the immuno-oncology (IO) franchise across indications. S/he will work cross functionally with Medical and Commercial teams in the US and Globally to ensure alignment of value strategy with overall company goals. S/he will lead IO payer and HEOR data generation and communication, including publications.
Develop Global and US value strategies, including value and access goals, value positioning, and IO target value proposition to address internal and external customer needs
Represent Product Value on clinical sub teams, indication launch teams and global brand teams to ensure alignment with value strategy
Develop value and evidence plan to deliver necessary evidence to support Target Value Proposition, both within and as a supplement to TESARO clinical development program
Review and provide input into outcomes research protocols, statistical analysis plans (SAPs), and reports
Collaborate and partner with key internal stakeholder colleagues and external key opinion leaders to ensure priorities and strategies are aligned
Lead or work with internal partners on multiple work streams relating to Product Value and health economics business areas (e.g., health economic modeling, value communications, observational research, real world data, patient reported outcomes, epidemiologic initiatives) to a high standard
Lead effective communication of Product Value study findings, in conference presentations, publications, dossiers and other means in a timely manner
Create and gain alignment on strategic pricing principles for initial launch and subsequent indication expansions, including launch sequencing and initial indication targeting
Assess market access and payer risks to target access strategy, and develop an approach to mitigate risks
Provide input into short and long term planning, including developing early pricing and valuation models
Monitor the marketplace for Product Value related issues, threats, and opportunities, particularly for oncology
Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with 7+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience
Significant knowledge of Global and U.S. Market Access environment, including customer demands and requirements from a product value perspective
Superior written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in communicating technical clinical information to all levels of internal and customer audiences
Strong track record in HEOR study methodology, statistics, data reporting and resource development
Extensive knowledge of and experience with clinical and outcomes research approaches to retrospective and prospective HEOR research (including claims databases and EMRs)
Good understanding of drug development and trial design concepts, in particular how and what value-related evidence can/should be included
Experience developing and executing value plans
