Manager, U.S. Sales Operations

Job Description:

As a key member of the U.S. Sales Operations team, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for providing data-driven insight and business recommendations to the U.S. Sales organization with a goal of maximizing innovation and productivity of sales force. This position will be responsible for performing analysis of sub-national secondary data and effectively communicate the conclusions and implications of his/her analyses to senior leadership. This position will also work closely with Business Intelligence functions to inform the broader U.S. Commercial team. This role is also responsible for partnering with the data warehouse and reporting function to deliver reporting to the sales force. This is a high impact/high visibility role within the sales organization.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • The successful candidate must be able to perform each of the following satisfactorily

  • Apply analytical/conceptual thinking related to targeting and resource allocation strategy decisions, implement changes and gain buy-in from front line management and field sales

  • Determine the effectiveness of various promotional activities and give recommendations on how to improve their value

  • Manage a small team of offshore consultants to develop and implement sales and activity dashboards and present performance updates to the senior leadership team

  • Lead cross-functional teams of Sales, Data Warehouse and Reporting to enhance field reporting and CRM

  • Develop and deliver training to increase report adoption among field sales, sales managers and home office

  • Partner with sales managers to deliver region-specific analytics and insights

  • Drive the spirit of "ONE Team" across all functions by supporting a team approach to focus on our patients and customers as our top priorities

Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Sales Operations, Consulting, Financial Analyst or similar role; pharmaceutical or healthcare experience preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in various analytical tools and statistical modeling as well as PowerPoint

  • Career path that exhibits increased responsibility and leadership

  • Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills with the established ability to effectively work with diverse audiences and influence cross-functionally

  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to effectively analyze data to determine trends and inform strategy

  • Excellent presentation skills are required

  • Learning agility and scalability to take on increasing responsibility as Intercept grows
